Nowadays HR no longer runs only the performance appraisal scheme; instead, their role became that of encouraging and facilitating the performance management process.
Appraising and managing all employees’ performance effectively is one of the first prioritized requirements of any HR system. Performance management system (PMS) helps organizations to evaluate the “quality” level of their staff (the level of accomplishing their Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and their competency in achieving their goals). Appraisal results will be the basement for salary review and will also use for training and people development.

  • Master the principles of setting goals, defining SMART(ERS) objectives and how to break down objectives to gain alignment among objectives of individual – department – company
  • Understand how to build a PMS set of a position, such as setting objective, relationship diagram, Job Description, KPIs
